What is Super Smash Bros Delta?
Just a project name for a fan project of Super Smash Bros. using a roster of up to 98 fighters. Centered around the idea of a pixel art based fighter that takes some queues from Rivals of Aether to bring a more distinct Smash Bros. experience with mechanics never really tried before. Overtime I may post some conceptual stuff of it but a lot of it is just me spitballing ideas unless someone is up to coding the game. The roster has been mostly decided upon already, with omissions that may seem unusual at first but the main goal was to focus on making the experience more fresh and thus a lot of newcomers are in this. Some newcomers which may at first scratch some heads but that is entirely the point.

This character is very unknown to me, and I hope that should be expected from here on when I deal with characters like this. The result, this is a character from a game that I have never played nor have the knowledge to even understand his whole purpose. If I had to recall anything, I believe he is an antagonist from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 which does seem odd as my first represent but oh well. He does seem to be a Monado user which is odd because I didn't recognize that as a Monado but alright then. His alternates are very uninspired, I figured his design would not lend itself to referencial alts so I refrained from that and instead just gave him a bunch of generic alts that pair him up nicely with some other fighters with generic alts. You can really feel the Sakurai-level of "which alt is which" like with Cloud, but I really do kind of blame the design for this. Some fighters like Cloud by comparison just do not have much of an excuse so if I did ever sprite him I would probably give him more inspired alternates by comparison. Hope this isn't a huge turnoff for other characters of this calibur.
