This is really quite unique. I stumbled upon it via IconPaper in their "misc" section and it certainly is that. Until then all throughout OS X 10.5/6 I had been using Classic Menu ([link] ) which replaces the ο£Ώ menu with one of the former incarnations (I use the multicoloured stripy one), but this one I might well use for 10.7 (a.k.a. "Lion") next month. Although I'll have to dim (i.e. make transparent) the tool bar at the top.
I use a White MacBook with a native resolution of 1280x800 and find the following work best for me:
ο£Ώ Rosette (i.e. bottom image): -169 x -73
ο£Ώ Wax-seal (i.e. foreground always-on-top image): -124 x -54
It took a little bit of thinking before I understood how this set up worked but basically GeetTool 3 ([link] ) - which you'll need to make this work - can place images on layers if you like, so the Rosette always has its tail shown on the desktop, but a foreground window will always overlap that (else it would get annoying). The wax-seal however is the one which overlaps the ο£Ώ logo on the toolbar and the two combined give the impression that it's one item, great illusion!
I also like Red Ribbon from Side-7 ([link] ) but this will be the one for me, I think that would be better for an iOS device, much like the "Labelled" theme by v-Xemnes ([link] ).
