I agree. What artists who are presenting great female warriors don't understand is that, the larger the boobs and more plump the female, the less speed and strength and action as a warrior. Best ones are slimmer, more like body builders or men. That said, is good art otherwise.

Are we really going to argue the realism of her body in a world where she is a 'she-devil' with sorcery and and has to fight insanely crazy creatures that don't exist in this world on planets we have yet to step foot on. But no, let's discuss how her body is unrealistic, because that's way more crazy than sorcery or all the supernatural creatures that exist in her world.

Mainly I just get sick of people continually objectifying female bodies. I feel both sorry and disgusted when women follow and/or support this route. But it's like talking to people from a whole 'nother planet any time I get on this subject.
True. Art is art, and you can pretty much do whatever you want. Which is good, insofar as, freedom to express. However in the last several years, when concerning female bodies, they look more and more the same... with boobs getting bigger and bigger... now butts are hideously ballooning as well.
I will always maintain, any woman with a brain wouldn't want boobs so big it'd take at least four midgets walking beneath them to hold them up. I mean, come on, sheesh!

I do respect your point of view, but I'd have to disagree. Yes, she may have an outrageous body, but so do the men in comics. Superman, Batman, He Man, etc. They are all built like body builders. I have not one single male friend who is anywhere near the body standards in comic books. Saying 'any woman with a brain' is kinda a way of objectifying them don't you think? To say that all women who want to have larger breasts are stupid? That sort of generalization breaks down everything else you're saying. A lot of people have body preferences that they wish to achieve, some average, some outrageous, this doesn't mean they're stupid. Ever since the comic world even started, men have been draw and large muscular beasts. Here is something I wrote earlier this year that I'd appreciate you reading (though I completely understand if you don't, as it is pretty long). I would like to discuss this in more depth with you, if you want to take the time to do so.
So lately I've been studying super hero anatomy, so that I can draw super heroes. I've been drawing Batman, Nightwing, Starfire, Wonderwoman, Sailor Moon, etc. After all this, I can officially say, that men have been highly sexualized for years in comics. When I am looking up art references of Batman and Nightwing, I see majorly RIPPED men. I don't know ANY guy in my life that lives up to Batman's standards.
I'm pretty sure you'd need steroids, OR your whole life would need to revolve around working out, it would have to be your job too. Woman think they're overly sexualized because Wonder Woman and such are usually drawn in bathing suits/short skirts/bikini style outfits. What you don't stop to think about, is men don't wear that, ever. Men are sexualized in MANLY ways. Men don't wear skirts/bikinis. Women do. When I am drawing Batman and Nightwing, I'm like DAYUUUUM them guys are sexy. They wouldn't be sexy to me in a skirt. -___-
Remember Batman and Robin 1997? When the camera, at the beginning of the movie, was all zooming in on their bodies and even their crotches as they were putting on their costumes? Basically, what I'm trying to say is EVERYONE is sexualized. Wearing full body, skin-tight clothing will not change that. Women wearing a bikini VS wearing what Batman wears, will not make her any less sexy at all (*cough cough* Zero Suit Samas *cough*). So the whole "woman need to wear more clothing in comics", to me, is a silly battle. v__v
I never see a guy crying about how sexy Batman is, and how he needs to be less so in order to make him more comfortable with himself. I'm sure there are guys who get mad at Batman for that, but much less so than woman. A lot of women feel threatened by other woman, and you shouldn't. Love your own body, and don't hate others. Hating on models for being thin/fit is JUST as wrong as hating on someone for being bigger. Men and woman should be allowed to be sexy if they want to be.
Wonder Woman may not be wearing full body spandex like the superhero men, but she still kicks your ass. A lot of the woman in comics are intelligent too. I feel like it's MUCH harder to live up to Batmans intelligence, than his body. O__O I FIND IT OFFENSIVE THAT HE IS SO SMART, THEY NEED TO DUMB HIM DOWN TO THE AVERAGE JOE INTELLIGENCE PLS.

But if men insist women do, then women should likewise of men. Fair is fair, or SHOULD be.
In my case, not that I ever cared all that much, except that being hetero myself, and if nudity is to be foisted upon me, I'd rather it be male bodies instead of female bodies. Or both if necessary. And the scene should be fitting the story and not just stuck there to sell more movies.
I find it both irritating and amusing how the idiots assume that no matter who or what we are, we all want to see naked females in movies. Even if we'd rather not see it at all, it must be females and females only. *laughing at the stupidity*
