Many thanks for the comment and praise, *dueeast- i guess i should tone down on the muscles when it comes to drawing superheroines, but then again i just wanted shadowcat to be athletic and look capable of superhero(ine) feats.

Oh it's cool, actually. In all truth, as much training as they put Kitty through, she probably should have had She-Hulk-sized muscles! My favorite Kitty issues were the two-part "Days of Future Past" (Uncanny X-MEN #'s 141-142 - which the newest movie will be based on) and "Demon" (Uncanny #143) (the Kitty and alien trash the X-Mansion, hanger and Blackbird at Christmas/Hanukkah issue)

i actually read that "demon" issue-may have been reprinted in an issue of X-Men.The brood was really terrifying then (had the feel of the Alien movie) when they attacked the x mansion with young kitty all alone in the mansion; Love the old john byrne art...

I agree about the John Byrne art. But that wasn't a member of The Brood, they didn't show up until Uncanny X-Men #155, I believe, allied with Deathbird. What attacked Kitty was a member of an ancient Earth race of demons. They first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #94, I think, back in the Dave Cockrum art days. Storm blocked most of them from coming through an old portal/obelisk but one did make it through in Uncanny #143 until Kitty fried it with the Blackbird's engines.
