samurai genji chapter 2 is coming!DONT DROP THE PIPE!!!
did this in bw as usual but then decided to color... was a struggle to say the least so hope it turned out ok.
i did bg in painterX... would use it more but its so laggy!!! idk why... maybe i will try painter 11... has anyone used that yet?

Haven't made the switch to Painter yet. :< (using custom-made brushes that can handle BG in one click is more favorable than trying to go straight up, due to lagging as you said ^~)
I like the cocked head (and cocked hair). XD Genji's got a thin pipe to be sure, but I think you could really play up the "forelengthening" (a term I made up, opposite of foreshortening) on the pipe to really show it fallng away from Genji's grasp (and also so its visual size isn't so similar to his scabbards that it ends up looking like one of them).

Painter gave me the same problem. I think if you have an awesome computer it doesn't matter, but the watercolor especially made my computer chug. It's also different enough from photoshop that you need to learn a whole new set of what does what.

hmm hard to say... i started it before i went camping but probably 10hrs? was done in about 3 days on and off, would have been finished sooner but color gave me some problems

this has kind of a cool "gangster ninja" feel to it, your styles evolution since we've met has been fascinating to watch.
