Hey guys, all well since i last posted?Nothing fancy here, just experimenting with coloring techniques. made a quick Cap drawing so i could try it out (or was it the other way around?)
anyhoo, hope you like.

As long as Im seeing the right thing? The background FX, colors holds etc to make the distance receed? Is this right?

all of that as well, but those are thing i've been trying to do for a while now. what i did that was a bit different was that the cap originally was just colored in a burgundy tone. then with a semi transparent brush i started adding his proper colors where ever the light would hit. Basically i was lighting instead of shading.

OK I see that now, kind of like underpainting on a car, both colors show through one is never entirely present. Looks great!!
