Shinto is the native naturalist religion of Japan.
Ever wonder why so many super-hero/super-power anime and super-sentai shows in Japan always have reps for Fire, Water, Air, and Earth in the main cast or primary supporting cast? it's all about the Shinto, bay-bee!

Oh yeah. Like *I* remember everything I ever did in JH! Of course, I might well be older than you as well, so we should respect the age'd and the infirm, right?
But just look at this shit and tell me what you see:

An aside: Vehicles Voltron, (nee' Armored Fleet Dairugger XV) had all their smaller fighter craft combine into a super terrain fighter, air-superiority fighter and a super-submarine.
The three the Getter Machines represented Land, Air and Water (Getter Energy was Fire)
The "B-Team" on Samurai Pizza Cats (nee' Ninja Cat Legend) were the four basic elements.
The supporting transformers in GaoGaiGar reped the elements as well.
All the sentai shows that were cobbled together to make the Power Rangers.
On and on and on.
