not entirely happy with this, and shading is very rushes as i have another duel to move onto, this really could use about 6 extra panels across the whole thing to smooth the flow of the fight. as it is its veyr cluttered and hard to decifer.duel against madoka © ~koeb

I know what you mean. I see everything as an animation and just frame it as much. The problem is that I get sooo many pages, I have to cut some of the drawings.

her hair isn't colored in one of the last panels... but my god. I envy your ability to draw action. and the same people over and over... every time I try to do comics, all the characters look like different people in every frame.

the hair was a deliberate choice, i was attempting on of those stylistic things where all shading gets leached from the scene, but it doesnt work if everything isny fully shaded already.
it takes a lot of practice i find to really get into comic confidently, its been a few years of progress for me, and also observing what other people do.
and learning how to draw people the same all the time mostly comes about when you think of them like real people, so you know that if this woman has a large forhead, no matter what angle you draw her from you draw a large forhead, and her bangs flattened across her head, and her lips and her eyes, like keeping a 3d memory of their face.

I totally love Foi's armor!! I'm not a big fan of animal masks but that one is FABULOUS
but it IS rather confusing, indeed. We're not really sure of the order in which to read the panels.

i rarely like animal masks, but thats coz they are usually just normal animal looking, i like stuff that looks more stylised from various cultures you know? aztec would also be a good look.
