Description My "Sweet Sasha" Norinco Type 56 SKS Dragunov

Okay, okay... It's not a real Dragunov (wish it was), it's my ol' 1973 Norinco Type 56 in SKS stock with some of my little touch on side mount for the PSO-1 scope. It has SVD muzzle brake (which really is a flash-hider). New gas tube, I sawed off the extra plastic that was located right behind the receiver cover because I want to remove the cover to do cleaning without taking the entire gun apart just to clean the barrel or the receiver. The muzzle brake went in real good on the end of the barrel by using hammer and cloth to protect the paint job. I was able to put the cleaning rod through the loop underneath the muzzle brake. Does this model use SKS mags, or does it use regular AK-pattern mags?

Hey Venom, been awhile since we chat. The PSO-1 scope was a gift from a Russian uncle for my 20th birthday. Shipped all the way from Russia to my front door. I bought the dragunov stock and slap it on my Type 56 SKS. I had to get the side rail and screwed some holes on the stock, adjusts it with lasers for super precise. When installing a side mount on a stock, it's best that you let a professional gunsmith to do it since they know how to install the rail mount in order to get the proper position. Then slip the scope on the rail and use the bore sight laser to sight in the scope without wasting any bullets at the range. So how's it going?

Shame you won't try the C4 explosives, the the hard kicks from the recoils happens to everybody on their first try. Later, you will get used to it like me.
