Description
My second photo of the abandoned brick factory/drug den. It certainly made the hair on the back of my neck stand up as I walked through the maze of decrepit rooms and hallways, knowing all the misery that happens in this sorry place. My wife wouldn't have gone even close to this building. The negative energy was that bad. Ive never been one to scare easily but this place sure kept me looking over my shoulder.Related content

Yeah, Ive been trying to get someone to model for me but this place isn't really somewhere a model would be safe. Its pretty damn seedy, but.... corsetry and lace mixed in with all that decay is a tempting thought

Alt models are more than willing to do location shoots, hell the last big one I did was in an abandoned glue factory in the middle of winter. It's called suffering for your art (so, they tell me.. lol)

Wow! Thats dangerous in so many different ways. The glue fumes could have given you a buzz that made you think you were warm when you were actually freezing to death! Glad to hear you got out alive

In my rather short experience with HDR I've discovered the trick, or at least in part, is to find subject matter that lends itself well to the technique. You've managed to render the mid tones in harmony with both highlights and shadows. The texture and sense of depth add much needed realism to an otherwise surreal setting.

Very true. The catch is not to over process the HDR photo. Which is the case all to often. Subtlety looks much more pleasing to the eye. Well, my eye anyway
