I had fun with this one... started with an old image from the fuji, taken with an IR lens, then neatimaged alot to give it a smooth kinda texture... then just added a couple colour adjustments, and voila... oh yeah... put back some grain again afterwards to add to the whole industrial kinda ... thing..

oh my. the tone is lovely and really gives that apocolypse feel. i thought it was another cloud pic but i love the foreground and the industrial plants, smoke and the clouds look really neat too. ah..well..+fav.

This is great. Like the colors, this dirty brownish glow thing in the cloud. A great editing you did here. Love it. Some parts nearly looke like they are burning.

The title fits. It certainly has that apocalyptic flair with the dark, grainy, almost dirtied-out tones. You obviously put some thought and work into this and I think it came out great!

Thats really awesome! Infared is cool!! The town thing in under the clouds is almost surreal. Very cool! I would like to compare this with one where you haven't smoothed the cloud textures, but thats just me. Well done!

This is stunning....reminds me of some scenes in the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers in terms of it's apocolyptic atmosphere....

i get a feeling of turmoil, even though it is most obviously not a conjested picture, but there is a sort of residing anxiety

I love the tones of those clouds. Where in other photographs they simply exist, your clouds loom over the field as this sort of menacing creature. Amid all the darkened and muted colors of the rest of the photo, the clouds add a splash of bright tones to the image, and that goldish-brown tinge works well for the pic's generally menacing tone.

you really have the 'industrial' look going here, I like your choice of the tone, especially in the clouds, the shadows really help create an overwhelming sort of feeling..
I like how the trees look like and the horizon that looks kinda gritty and polluted cos it's so dark and you've got the structures in the background...
but I think the clouds take the cake, they're awesome
