And finally, after several months, the two sisters are reunited! Heck yeah!
It's always a treat to see what artwork you've done with each new episode. Whether it's conveying the epic action or expressing all the heavy emotion, you find a way to draw out the feelings that RWBYΒ evokes. Here, you've drawn a grayscale of Ruby and Yang's reunion, and I am impressed! The expression on Ruby's face helps capture the pain she went through when she "lost" her sisterΒ as well as all the raw feelings that she has upon seeing her again. This drawing displays a rare moment where Ruby lets her pain surface, and it makes me sad knowing how much hurt she still has inside of her. Viewing this piece reminds me of how much these two have been through, and how much Yang persevered to find her little sister. Yang does deserve some answers from Raven, but I'm glad that she ultimately placed the family she knows as her highest priority. The fact that she chose Ruby over Raven's answers shows me how much she lovesΒ her baby sister. You've truly captured a bittersweet moment here!
As much as it warms my heart to see this, the grayscale reminds me that Team RWBY's struggles are far from over. There is still a danger in Remnant, Ruby and Yang will have more trials to overcome, and I know there will be more stress in store for them, their team, and their loyal viewers as well.
But for now, why not cherish this moment of two sisters who are back together at last?
