Edit: I would LOVE to add more games to this stamp. However, I've lost the PSD or overwritten it somehow so I'd have to make an entire new stamp, and to be honest I dont feel I need to right now.But! Leave the games you'd like to see added in the comments and when I do remake it, I'll have a look at including it!
I HATE HATE HATE it when people write off a game because it's not realistic enough.
Most of you know this already to be my most HATED thing of all time. Other than cheese.
People dont like Wind Waker, Mario, Okami, Pokemon etc because the graphics dont show up every hair folicle on the goddam face.
There's a time and place and genre for realistic games.
I dont hate realism, my goodness, I love Resident Evil for gods sake.
But because people bitch too much about unrealistic graphics, here's my opinion about it.
My biggest irk is Wind Waker. It is probably one of the TOP Zelda games, and yet people look down on it because of it being cel shaded. It is a stunning game.
Thank god for games such as the upcoming Tales of Vesperia and the recently released Madworld.
And where would we be without Pokemon? It's a revolutionary RPG beneath the childish demeanor, changing the ye olde Black Magick/White Magicke fantasy RPG entirely.
Dont anyone start bitching onto me about how lame I am for not liking realism in games.
I do like realism in games, but I hate it when people cant open their eyes to other types of graphics.

I don't care if it's realistic, one of my standards for a good game is a creative or fun style. For example, I was loaned a copy of Okami, and right of the bat just by looking at the box art, I fell for the game because of the style alone, and as I played I loved the story behind it, and I thought it was clever with utilization of the brush powers. ^^

I'm annoyed when game reviews complains about there not being realistic graphics in a anime like game. Plus a year ago I red a review of Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory and the stupid reviewer showed a picture with the wordsΒ "terrible graphics" below a picture with nothing wrong with the graphics plus I love the graphic in that game. Also cheers for Tales of Vesperia being on the stamp.

All my friends look down on Okami because it's graphics are 'cartoon-ish'.
Sucks for them because they will never get to experience the amazing game that is Okami.

I disagree, due to the fact that none of the characters are vaguely like anything in real life. It has realistic textures, but it doesn't make it a realism game B)Β

unless it's cartoony like wind waker or TF2 i do not notice a different in graphics...the age of updating graphics is over it's now time to make ever thing HD so it looks updatedΒ

Oh, i remember how i was MAD, when i've seen that Final Fantasy VIII is too realistic, because i loved anime style in VII ^__^
But i agree, i prefer cartoony and animeish games ^__^

Tis a bit of a thing with me.
Graphics over gameplay with most likely suck/fail hard for me.
Gameplay over graphics (ie Darwinia) will be good if the first part's enjoyable enough.

I like cartoony games,they are awesome like team fortress 2,it is kinda unrealistic exept for the guns,but it is awesome! And pokemon,my childhood in one word,along woth mario,that is!

...what? Lol I have no idea what you're trying to get across. I put Phoenix Wright in there because the graphics are quirky. I didn't put Sonic in because I don't like the games at all and it never crossed my mind to do so. I don't spend a lot of time thinking about games I don't enjoy.

No? The stamp is to express that I don't like it when people demean a great game just because of the style of the graphics. I have a few friends who refuse to play games such as Okami, Wind Waker, Phoenix Wright etc because of the graphics and it irritates me to the core. I am a very big fan of a lot of the games on this list. Phoenix Wright is one of my most favourite characters of all time, and my favourite games include Okami, Journey, Paper Mario and other really stylistic games. It's something I highly advocate when talking about design for video games.

Besides, some of my favorites games of all time are because of the fun and addicting gameplay, not because of the graphics. Super Mario World is easily one of the best video games I've ever played in my life and while it may not have 360 graphics or anything like that, it's still a game that I can play over and over and never get tired of. Good graphics doesn't automatically make a good game.

Video games were never meant to be realistic in the first place. They're meant to be fun and enjoyable. If you're looking for realistic stuff, then you're better off not even playing video games. I honestly never really cared much about graphics.

I don't care for graphics much. I once said the Shadow the Hedgehog intro had good graphics and my friend slapped me. If it's visible and smooth-ish, it's automatically good graphics to me. I say Skyward Sword has good graphics, everybody else says it's terrible, unlike Call of Duty, which is apparently what society sees as the only video game in existence. People give me the evil eye every time I mention having a Wii. "THE WII SUKS IT HAS BAD GRAFFICKS PLAY CALL OF DUTY."

That's lame. I'd never played a FF game before I picked up FFVII literally last month and even though the graphics are hilariously old and sometimes annoying, the game itself is just amazing!
