I know, there are so many rail-road-shots here on dA, there don't need to be more, but I want to throw my version into that big pot

The angle gives a really sharp perspective which really adds to it, fantastic! Nice one!

someday, I'll throw my version too, i hope
I wonder if you had chosen the smallest aperture how would that look...I would also like a lighter edit, it's too dark I think

I always find that HDRi effect are so bad rendered when the focus field is too restricted.
I think that all the blurred part is dirty but the bolts are really cool like this.
However nice composition

maybe I will overwork it
thanks for the tip!

toiiiine In reply to Ditze [2009-05-26 17:40:06 +0000 UTC]

i don't think that this is something that photoshop can handle.
The HDRi Process is used to enhance the details of a picture, in opposition of a low focu field which i used to get a blurred effect ( less details on the background).
In my opinion, theses two processes are really different, and can't be used together.

The best way to avoid it is to shoot with a tiny aperture ( more than f9), you'll enlarge your focus field and your HDRi Process will be great

but then I see the dust spots more and more from my sensor and I will not pay over 50€ to clean it in the professional way, because I don't have the money...
I don't go over f8
