His hair looks so real, like realistically freakin tousled hair. Not that illustrated hair most people put out there even in realistic paintings, but this hair looks real enough to touch. I think that's why I personally like this piece. It doesn't lose the charms of illustration but it still manages to hold all the key 'realism' qualities I love and strive for in art. And I don't think that made much sense, but hopefully your magic ability to understand what I'm trying to say is still working today

I love his eyes. They have that glossy/starstruck quality that makes them more realistic as well. And I love his lips, the highlights that are faint but just bold enough to make it seem as though he's licked them possibly a few moments before the picture was done and it wasn't quite done drying yet. Hell, dude, you've even made the earring look extremely gold. I can tell how much time you spent on this (not just becuase you told me either lol) and I think the time and effort were well worth it. And it's Star. You can't go wrong with Star.

Damn Amber. O.o I'm not kidding, this just beautiful, and not just because I like Star either (). It's so your style and yet so delightfully different with the painterly look. The lightning is gorgeous, warm and soft and very inviting. I am very much in love with shape of his face- it's so different from Lance or Link's, but still very attractive. His mouth and eyes really say 'dixey' to me, both of which are beautiful, his eyes are such a pretty shade of green. I think his hair may be my favorite part though- just the fact that it looks so dyed. The grown out bits near the temple, the yellow-ish shade of blonde at the tips, I'm not saying it well but it's very accurate. Major props!! :fav::fav:
