Spent the last month working on these two plushies; Princess Zelda and Princess Hilda from The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds! I had a lot of fun making these two, was a lot of work but I'm really super proud of the result X3. Only thing that's missing is Hilda's staff, which I got kinda stuck on how to make it, but I can always return to that later.

The dresses are made of silk satin, which isn't the easiest stuff to work with, especially given I sew by hand, as it freys really easily, but I managed to make it work by ironing on some fusible web around the edges where the seams would be in order to stop it from coming apart, and it worked out pretty well. The designs on the tabards are painted on with acrylics, the golden pieces are made from PVC painted in gold acrylic to give it some extra shine, with some gold studs around Hilda's crown and on the belts, red plastic jewels on the crowns and shiny lycra for the capes and Hilda's gloves. Everything else is made from familiar materials; The hair is Minky, the body is craft velour and the face is iron on transfers.

Anyway, really really pleased with how these two came out, relieved to have them finished though so I can finally move onto something else XD!
