I was watching a series of videos on the history of Don Bluth and his journey/career throughout animation.
As well as looking up concept art from some Bluth works (mainly Dragon's Lair and such.....and no I have never played that game, or Space Ace, or the other Dragon's Lair(s) games.).

So I got a little inspired to sketch. So I drew up this little winged kitty. I liked it, outlined ( "inked") it in mechanical pencil, scanned, and colored. So the lines are actually pencil, not outlined with the tablet. But I did do the coloring and BG digitally (obviously lol ) in Sai and Photoshop.

This whole thing was actually pretty quickly done.

And no there's not really a story behind this. He was going to be on a flat rocky top, then I just drew clouds because to me it would be simpler.

And yes I have heard of the Winged Cat book(s). I think I may have started to read one YEARS ago, but do not remember much of it.

I do not know what else to say.
