EDIT;Fixed something that was bothering me.here's Chumvi!!
I tried to make some movie colors for Chumvi, based on his comic colors compared to Nala.
use it if you'd like, you dont need to give me credit but it'd be nice xD
Chumvi is a "Sub-cannon" Character. meaning he does belong in the TLK Universe because he was released in a comic that was under the name of Disney. therefore he belongs to Disney. Ane belongs in the lion king, even though he never appeared in any of the films.

He looks Sarabi-colored in the first, it's a bit creepy. I've never considered that Chumvi was her cub or nephew.

LOVE THIS! I LOEV ALL YOUR WORK!!!! May i ask though if you know if Chumvi (by fan's views) is Kobu's father? I heard that roumer once a while ago and ive been wondering ever since if its true as Covu doesnt particularly look like Chumvi.

That is just fan speculation. Personally I do not think it would ever happen because of the age difference, seeing as it is a more human story, and they've adapted human-ish beliefs and or morals, I don't think Chumvi would shoot for such an older female such as Zira, nor would she shoot for such a younger male as Chumvi.
Then again, those are my opinions.
However to answer your question with facts, no, I do not think Chumvi is Kovu's father. According to the films, Chumvi never even existed, as he only appeared in the books. And according to the film, Zira was a follower/queen of Scar's, and non of her cubs have an announced father. Not even Nuka. Not Vitani. Not Kovu. All her cubs have no official father.
Originally Scar was going to be the father of all of them, but later on into production, they changed that due to incest. (kiara and kovu would have been cousins.... it is okay in real-life lions, but not in TLK seeing as it is, again, a very human story.). However they did not change the designs of the characters, nor did they give them enough background story to explain their father(s).
So all we have is speculation.
Sorry if I rambled, I've been up all night and am somewhat tired.

in the original book ones, his eyes look a bit like olive green..... so he might be Kovu's father after all...... you just need a light green eyed lioness

no, i was not told off for using this. in my case i used the screen shot in a proper manor.
i drew a character and added it as an example in order to show a color pallet.
i did not claim the image as my own. nor did i recolor a character that had already existed in the screen shot
and i saw that picture of yours,
you took my chumvi added to the screenshot i did here, traced over it, and recolored it. and then you uploaded it here and did not give me credit. and if you want to argue with me that you did not do that.
i have evidence that you did, and i will upload it and show everyone the truth.
so in turn,
i uploaded these images for example, not "really" personal gain.
in my case its perfectly okay.
i also credited disney if im not mistaken.

yes it would serve you well to draw your own pics. theres no pride to be gained from a traced/stolen/altered image.

She was with Leo and Mega in "Vulture Shock", the only lioness in their pride.
There's also Babu and Boga, the cubs of that pride :3

in my opinion this is not one of the best (i like the kula's one!!!), but it's very cute... and in general this pic idea is quite interesting! a good exercise of art!
