yaay Marissa =^-^= rach will be please with me lol.i loved doing this piece - it was so fun and interesting. I really like how the bodice came out.. it was supposed to be styalised like Mucha but i think i kind of mentally got bored with it half way lol.
this is the december piece for my calender and the last one! XD hopefully the calender will be available to buy by next week or sooner.

=^-^= Marissa's expression is so hard to create when she has nothing that can make it obvious. so i usually end up using her body to present her mood... if that makes sense.

Yup, that makes sense. The lips/mouth tend to give away emotions more easily, the eyes are harder to get, but foreheads and eyebrows work too, they're just not as obvious. Sorry, I'm

XD i was thinking of the outfit you wore for the 'Frozen' pointe dance you did back in easter... although i couldn't remember it exactly so i used some inspiration from a Poirot episode lol.

make-up does such wonders
no i hate it =_=.... lol well its interesting to do because it helps me to practise conveying emotions by using body language rather than facial expressions. the main problem especially when colouring is trying to make it look like once she did have a face - like the bridge of the nose etc.
i love the outfit - i think it was inspire by a dress a woman wore in a poirot episode i was watching at the time lol.

Make-up does such wonders... I pile it on to actually make myself look a little less alive. My face has a tendency to be too pink at times. Others may think those rosy cheeks are "sooo cute", but I hate it. I just want my face to be all one color, all the time. ...The hardships of being a girl, am I right?

lol - well its a love hate thing really because its so hard to get right.
i put lots of make-up on around my eyes bcause it makes them look bigger
my face has gotten paler as i've gotten older its strange.
