In all weirdness. Eye shadow, veins in the back...and yeah...nekkid...sorta!
Though I think putting the veins in the back for the wings would make sense. Otherwise, how else would the wings be attached to the bodies of the faeries? This is just my last minute thought.
I don't think I've seen any drawn male faeries before. Mostly long haired, female ones. And the hair covers the back (get what I mean?)
Actually, he wasn't even supposed to be like this from what I've had in mind from the beginning...especially the make up, which was an accidental experiment with Painter 8

*appaluse* light soruces. its a shame, theres not a lot of male faires on line. I tryed to get neopets to make one. They take suggestions, but getting one in is a slim chance.
Lukcy there is a cartoon that has male faries. oh well. the face looks pretty correct. theres some merit points or somthing..

His wings look all glow-ish...and it looks like they reflect off of the back of his...well.....back ( :B ) and neck....It's too bad that you couldn't have added a little of the shade onto his already beautiful blonde hair...

What a wonderful image! The perspective of it is so well done, I love his expression. The glowing effect of the wings draws the eye so well. Nice composition to this--and such WONDERFUL coloring! It's so smooth.

Strikes me odd that a male faerie would have eyeshadow, but then again.. I think that eyeshadow makes up the " prittiness" of the faerie in this case. ^_^

The veins might look a bit weird but it's a great idea, I never really thought about how fairies wings were attached to their back...

It's the shoulder I'm sure. In the beginning stages, I saw creating numerous poses for the guy and I ended up with this...and I was having a hard time with his shoulder ><
