Chojin Sentai Jetman is one of the most dramatic and violent tokusatsu shows I've seen so far. The ending is a little depressing though... the black ranger got stabbed by a robber

Very cool. I still like the episode where Ryu's fiancee, Aoi Rie sacrifices herself for her beloved by impailing Radiguet on his sword. Didn't care much for Ryu crying like a wuss at the end of said episode, though.

I've not seen all of the series but I tend to remember that show having a bit of a swerve ending in regards to one of it's members.

Gai (Black Condor) gets killed by a purse snatcher on the day of the wedding of Ryu (Red Hawk) and Kaori (White Swan). Many people griped about that since his death wasn't in battle like Joe's in Science Ninja Team Gatchaman.

It was the series right before the one that was used for the first season of Power Rangers. I'd love to see more of it myself, only seen a couple episodes.

Swan's hips look a bit big compared to what I remember of her, although seeing some of your other gallery pics, that's to be expected. Good details on the costume.

The title reminded me of the Wild Card book I just got done with, except the character in that was Jetboy. Nice picture though, very 1980's. And I loved the 80's.
