Description
Oil on gessoed illustration board. Was somewhat of a caricature-ish take on Bruce Lee. Yet another piece from my college years. I have deviated from using oil paints over the years due to time and toxicity. Outside of that, I love oil painting and I prefer to paint in the manner of the traditional masters. All that photo realism is my preference as well. I never picked up oils until I hit college during my first year in Illustration. This was, I believe, my 6th or 7th piece in oil during college. I owe much of my painting knowledge to my professors Kam Mak, William Low, and Sal Catalano.
