Description
One last marketing illustration of CITY of HEROES' most iconic hero, Statesman, who died in Signature Story Arc #1, Chapter 5. This image was used all over the place--on the website and as a loadscreen as well.The stark white light (of Heaven?) is just beginning to dissolve the figure's silhouette at its edge, which feels appropriate for a tribute piece.

Well. You can always do some issue specific art for your fans here, and if you frame it right we can use Neo's Login Screen changer to have our own customized Login screen.
Mine is currently showing the graphic that is on the Going Rogue Razer Sphez of Desdemona. It took almost no skill (thank goodness since I have no artistic skill) to get rid of the logo.
I'll be saving this image to use at times as well as the one you released a day or two ago.

I think my only crit is that his right leg looks a little too thin for his body and muscle size. Like, his left leg, which is further away, somehow looks more bulky than the right, which should be large due to the laws of perspective.
Still, I really liked this piece. The only other crit is that it lasted so short a time before being replaced with the one we have now...which I don't like at all -_-

Yeah, I wish we'd kept it around longer too, but the new plan was always to have issue-specific art going forward. We'll see if that holds true next issue.

Emporer Cole's great! I didn't do much with him personally--just his statue and iconography really. My biggest contributions to the Praetorian sigs were probably Noble Savage, Mother Mayhem, Neuron, and Marauder.

No matter how many jokes were cracked by others about this particular art as the login screen, this was the best one in my opinion. it was really fitting.

Even still, I always saw this as a very strong and defiant... heroic pose.
(In other news, I went through my old screenshots and found one of my brute going through the Rogue > Hero mission cosplaying as Statesman. I still laugh about that one.)
