You're lucky that your whippets love the beach. Not long ago I took my whippetgirl Ballie to a local dog beach and she absolutely hated it - As soon as I took her off her leash, she darted in the opposite direction away from the water, and I had to chase her through the hot sand. I wasn't too happy with her that day. LoL.

My girls love the beach. Lots of space to run and play. They don't like to swim. Cath a ball in the water if it's not to far is the only thing that works for them.. at least if the weather (and water) isn't too cold.

He's beautiful, and this was a fantastic capture! This is my favorite point in their strides, when they look like they are putting forth every measure of 'oomph' into it.
Will he come back to you readily? I have a whippet, Ziggy, and two Greyhounds and once they get going like that they aren't gonna stop until they're good and ready to, despite my best wishes and their better sense.
I love the little bugger though, couldn't get through the day without him.

Thank you ! Yes, my whippetgirl Dobé likes to run for it as fast as she can to catch her ball with rope. It's great if they enjoy it that much. I took a look at your gallery and you also has some wonderful pictures and beautiful pets.

Thanks. Yes, she's realy fast although she's of show line whippets and there's no racing in her breed/pedigree. We've met whippets who do race and our Dobé can easily run with them.

yes i do think whippets look more showy than racing like grayhounds, but to me i think they look a little sweeter being smaller, even though my boyfriends mums pair ,Darla and Murphy are Lurchers whippets crossed with collies they are still very fast but ive never really met a pedigree whippet to compare both looks and speed in running, well apart from youre lovely photos :. Do you do shows with your girls? it must be an interesting thing to do.
Ive always wanted a dog but as a kid my brothers allergic to thier hair so ive never experienced them much before i met my boyfriends family and now ive fell for this kinda breed

Hello! Although Dobé and Fiebe are showdogs, I don't show them. They don't like to show and because they don't, I don't like it either and prefer to take them for a walk. So if I have to choose where I will spend our time... ofcourse it's more fun to see your dogs happy. Together with friends we go for walks and so the dogs can enjoy theirselves during some wonderful walks with friends and so can we.
