I went back to the Rootsein Showroom with my dearest friend LuLupoo and finally got to take a few more shots. This one is quite different from the usual and more glamorous mannequins you might see. More of a plain Jane look. However she was really adorned very beautifully and had such nice vintage look to her and she really seemed to be the most eye catching one in the place because she just looked so real. I especially like the old fashioned looking glasses. I remember seeing my mom wear a pair like that. The blouse had a nice nylon look about it and the hairstyle will definitely take you back to that 40s look. It was very hard to get some good shots of their latest mannequins as the spotlight was shining bright on the mannequin's faces and all of them were wearing white clothing. I breifly also met the man that owns the Rootsein mannequins and spoke a few words with him. I hope you all can enjoy this memorable look.Related content

Very beautiful mannequin Melissa. She looks like a actress. Like the ones from the 40s or 50s. And she is so life like too. Excellent shot. Looks like she is in a spot light here. Must be an awesome place to visit.

I really love the old fashioned hair style too! It is very reminiscent of the 1940's.

Thanks so much Jewel. She was one of the main attractions because of her very nostalgic look. She looked so real. And yes it was a nice experience to speak to the man that owned all the beautiful mannequins...by the way he was dressed you could tell he was super rich.

You know something Melissa this was the first mannequin that caught my eye when we walked in the showroom that day, and to be honest I think that she is very pretty. I don't see the plain Jane look when I look at her. I see a very sophisticated lady. The funny thing is that mom use to wear those same glasses when she was young.

I know Lulu I think we both shared the same feelings about her because she was an eye catcher and I think one of the main attractions there although she was plain looking it was nice to see a little bit of nostalgia that brings you back to a time when life was more simple and the style of clothes were some of the finest and most glamorous looking. I think that you see the beauty in her eyes. It's there behind the glasses. I sort of think your sister Mela called it right when she said that she needs a make over. Oh goodness she does certainly have librarian look to her. I sure agree with you about one thing...In the Showroom it is certainly easy to get fooled by what figure in there is and isn't real. indeed the main attraction. I think maybe because she remind
me so much of my mother. These people at the showroom can
take any mannequin and make her look awesome. They have
the best mannequins. Oh I agree you can certainly get fooled
by whose real and who isn't. Even though there is just the one
person there, who is really a cool person, you just a get feeling
of them being real. I got scared a couple of times. I bet there
laughing behind those still faces at us when that happens.

I think she reminds a lot of people of their mothers. We are too young to ever have dressed like that. But I wish that we were born in that era Lulu I think they were probably the best days. God I think I would just die Lulu if one of them mannequins started to blink I would run for the door and I think that you would be behind me. I love going there and I look forward to going back.

Oh this one definitely has a story to it. She looks like one of those office secretaries that look so plain and can't get a date. And then she decides to get a complete make over in which she lets her hair down..loses the glasses and applies the make up and she is totally transformed into this raving beauty that all the guys can't resist. In spite of the plain look this shot came out amazing. A very impressive shot Melissa.
