she is an interesting character once you got to know her & her history better

Yes, very true. But the anime itself (Not the manga) focuses on her breasts way to much! Her history's so spectacular, too!

I think they did it for fanservice
just like how they added more muscles for the guys in the anime  
I'm not complaining about the latter, though

only about her union with Poland
