Description
The rain was pouring down,
Two faces in a crowded street,
A glance, and a dream was shared,
Lightening romance and eloping,
Two become one, and then the one,
Becomes two again as the moment,
Disappears forever as they walk on,
Going nowhere and never arriving,
A thousand shared moments a day,
And yet this one was special,
Her bloood red lips and
Dark black hair stuck in his head,
As she passed him by forever.

And then a bus, transporting him,
Homewards for the day, the moment gone,
And then she ascends the stairs,
Disappearing towards the back,
A bus journey shared by two strangers,
Unwittingly, unknowingly,
Never to meet again nor be forgotten,
Drifting together and then apart,
A whole romance in seconds,
A dream risen and forgot.

She departs and he remembers,
Too cowardly to say a few simple words,
But the moment made special it.
