I like it! Β Β Try going darker with your shadows than you think you should, it will look better than you think. Β If you are using colored pencils, experiment with going over them with a white or lighter colored pencil to try and blend the colors together. Β This works better with some brands over others. Β The best brand is prismacolors. Β Also watercolor pencils are awesome.

Ok, cool! I do have Prisma watercolors, but tried a different brand this time. I should go darker, and yeah, I do pull back. I forget, constantly, that the scanner washes out color.

The scanner washed out the color. The pencil said "violet" 
Also, thanks for spelling "fuchsia". xD If I were in a spelling contest, and given that word, I'd have failed. xD

xD I wasn't sure if it was the same in English as in Dutch, so I had to check it anyway. Otherwise I would probably have spelled it 'fucksia' until my spel-check had corrected me.
