Yes, these are the geese the lady on the other end of the beach was shouting at. They took off from her end, circled back around and were coming in for a landing again. Obviously the lady needs to work on her scaring technique...haha. Awe, thanks, you're so sweet Melo

Thank you so much!!! I went down to the beach yesterday morning and they were coming in and I just started shooting photos. They were still quite a distance from me, but it was something to see that's for sure!

You are very welcome! One of the neighbors have pigeons. Not as awesome as geese, however the sound they make when flying is kind of pretty. Β Almost a warbling-whistle-whirring. I haven't got a clue how to explain it.

I have mourning doves, which are really pigeons, just a difference in size, in the trees at the end of the street and when I go out at night I hear them whistle and whirr when I pass under them. I get what you mean there is no word to explain exactly how they sound
