Actually, here's my headcanon: Waluigi actually did receive an invitation, but he was too busy running his bridal shop, so he asked if Planty here (his pet Piranha Plant) could fight on his behalf instead.

I still like how you drew the Piranha Plant, as well as his expression and how he's wearing Waluigi's cap just to make others feel provoked because he was chosen over him.
