I wanna start my journalism photograph.This is my coverage in Serentaun Ceremony at Cigugur, West Java. May be it is not so "artsy" enough, but i want to share this photo because this cultural event almost extinct due the lack of interest of young generation in my country.
This ceremony is like a thanksgiving ceremony. But more than that, this ceremony shows that the original culture of Indonesia love to be united. This ceremony is opened with pray: bhuddist, islam, christian, hindu, pray together for prosperity, peace and health. It amaze me that they can find unity in diversity.
I cannot get good spot to take picture because it's very crowded
. Me and other photo journalists are placed in one stage. But still, that is not the best spot

I love it! All the straw hats and parasols look like a procession of flowers. It really is a river of people...and they all look happy, which makes it so nice!

heheh kagak, cuma pake Nikon L37C doang. Di body settingannya pake Vivid, terus pake lensa Nikkor 17-55. Saturasi nya emang syeremm.....
Di PS contrastnya di adjust pake shadow and highlight. Gak berani macem macem soalnya kalo foto journalism.

ternyata shot yang bagus butuh tempat yang tepat juga, tapi kondisi yang sempurna kaya gitu emang susah kalo di tempat yang banyak orang dan aktivitasnya dinamis, jadi kalo aye sih ngerti2 aja, lagian ni foto udah nunjukin message yang mau disampein, di bagian bawah banyak orang yang bawa macem2, dan ada bendera indonesianya, udah komplit, dan match sama titelnya
