Description Name: Darwin
Nicknames: none

Description: A young bulky bicolored tabby tom with short plush fur and yellow eyes. Often seen wearing an acorn necklace around his neck. Wings are dark brown and speckled, much like those of a hawk's.

Age: 10 moons
Gender: Cis Male
Orientation: unknown

Personality

 friendly
Darwin is a nice kid with a knack for making friends. He doesn't understand why any cat would be mean on purpose. He's bouncy and amiable, and a favorite among kits. He loves to make jokes and have fun, and some would argue that Darwin doesnt have a mean bone in his body.

 playful
This is a cat who loves to swirl around midair playing tag, or chase grass pretending he sees things. Darwin loves a good game, and its even better with his pals. His imagination and drive to keep the mood light leads this cat to find the joy in even small tasks like gathering moss.

 loud
He talks. A lot. Darwin can't seem to keep his mouth shut, especially if he's excited. While this can be nice at times, most often he gets in trouble for talking when he shouldn't be. He has a booming voice, reminiscent of his father, but he uses it more to call out joyous greetings rather than orders. Its for this reason he makes a poor hunter.

 stubborn
It's very hard to tell Darwin no once he's made up his mind. Needless to say, this trait has gotten him into trouble numerous times. His easygoing ways and habits are not easily disrupted, and that can spell trouble when he has orders that absolutely have to be followed.

 rash
Darwin thinks of plans and acts on them 2 seconds later, hoping that they'll work. Usually, they do not. His rash behavior has earned him quite a few scoldings and led him into trouble. Often times, his plans aren't thought all the way through, or are guided by false thinking. Most likely he'll grow out of this trait.

Likes: jokes, playing, talking, racing and flying
Dislikes: being bored, being scolded, water

History

Before Birth: Darwin's parents were loyal and active members of the tribe. Fortunato was a large and intimidating soldier with a soft spot for small birds and fauna, hence the reason why he could often be spotted bird-watching with his gold finch companion. His stocky figure and loud voice made him a force to be reckoned with, although few within his tribe feared him. His mate, Liliana, was soft and beautiful, her build light and agile. She was part of the hunter wing, able to snatch a mouse off the forest floor without it knowing what happened. Though, with her beauty came a sharp tongue and quick wit, overall making her a cat few messed with. Together they made quite the odd pair, a large tom with a soft heart and a lithe she cat that could claw your ears off with only her words. No one could seem to understand their love, but that didn't matter to them. Together they made a great team, and raised not one, but two litters. The first litter only consisted of two kittens, one of which was lost to a harsh leafbare. The other, named Beau, still lives on in the tribe as a hunter. The second litter is when Darwin was born.

Kithood: Darwin was born alongside his sisters Cherise and Bella, and from the start it was clear that the litter leaned more towards their father's body type; thick legs, small ears, and a plush coat. Not that the parents minded of course, their kits were beautiful no matter what. Darwin spent most of his time play-wresting with his sisters and telling jokes that he often couldn't finish, as by the time he reached the punchline, he was giggling too hard for anyone to understand. Like any young cat, Darwin got into his fair share of trouble; trying to fly before he was fully taught, attempting to leave camp without an escort, eating more freshkill than he was rationed.. Nonetheless, he was happy. He grew fast, soon becoming taller than his older sister, Cherise, which he bragged endlessly about. Cherise never took him too seriously, as she knew if it came down to wrestling, she would still win. When the northstar disappeared, Darwin and his littermates were only 5 moons old, and knew not what it meant. All the young cats could understand was that it made their mother and father very upset, so in turn Darwin was upset too. However, their worries were often clouded by excitement as their 6th moon grew closer. Darwin already knew he was destined to be a soldier with his muscled build, and he loved to chatter about how much of an asset he'd be.

Trainee: Darwin has been training to become a soldier for four moons now, and he still has much to learn before he can graduate and become a full soldier for his tribe to rely on. He was given a necklace when he came of age, a small acorn fixed to a silver chain. His wings are strong, and although he can't fly very fast nor agilely, his stamina makes him able to fly for a while without rest. His sisters both are training to be soldiers alongside him, and Fortunato is proud to see his babies take on his wing. Liliana helps them out whenever she can, whether it be flying techniques or simply nagging at them to groom a bit more often. Darwin is eager to serve his tribe and make friends along the way, although his easy life has made for some naive notions from time to time. Only time will tell where this trainee will go, and how high his wings will take him.

Roleplay Sample
(I'm not sure how I'm supposed to show a script RP sample but I am familiar with them. This is more to show my writing style, so here's an excerpt from an RP I've done)

Frecklenose laid a fish on the freshkill pile and stretched. She had slept well the night before, and her muscles buzzed with the energy of an apprentice on its way to their first gathering. Now including her catch, the freshkill pile seemed well-stocked for a leafbare day. The fish had practically leaped into her paws, and therefore did little to tire her out.

The day was young and the sun not yet to its peak, so the air was cold and heavy. The she-cat walked through the powdery snow that covered the camp, watching as her white paws left tracks. Perhaps what Frecklenose needed was a good training session. With tensions rising between the clans, it couldn't hurt to keep her claws sharp and ready, right? But who was she to train with?
