I feel like I can really feel the pain of the person in this picture.

Thank you! In my art I am always striving to evoke an emotion, feeling, a thought.

This is heartbreaking, and very relevant in my life right now. Although I'm not the person in the picture.. Very well done.

Thank you. I almost don't like the idea that anyone can relate to this in any way, but it's nice that people can take something from it also.

I'll add, I like the feeling of gender neutrality. It keeps the emotion raw and in the moment of someone just feeling in a very dark period . The cloudy, voided background is something I really like too, very alone and about the here and now.

I'm glad that someone noticed that, that was very intentional! I really enjoyed working in the texture in the background, I didn't want to over-work it though, keep it nice and simple.

Yeah ^_^ It's neat the way it kind of clouds up at the top, or maybe drizzles down. Kind of makes me think of a blanket or curtain looking at it again. I also start to see a face in it, very simple dotted style lol gives the title more eeriness...or just frustration. *^_^* I'm starting to think out loud different day it feels like a very good mood piece when you are stuck on something.

I actually let the water pull the paint down a little, tilting the paper, and just kept adding layers, darkening parts, allowing other parts to remain lighter, though I tried not to be too controlling with it, let the paint do it's own thing.^^ I'm trying to see that face now, I think that I can actually make out two looking now.^^

haha I really like it I can see how that works now , pretty creative. It kind of looked like scratched or stripped away paint also, I really didn't know . I like it though :3. Faces are fun to see in this stuff it can mess with you a lot. I only saw the one, very beady eyes...I'll have to see if I see any other later. I'm finally making some head way on my class design/layout. Kind of tedious now :3 but I'm glad it's gotten to that point it feels good

I love the technique, with watercolours I really just love to let them do their own thing.^^ I'm sure that different people would perhaps see faces in different places, maybe depending on what you look for in a face.^^ Ah cool, whenever I think of teachers and teaching I guess I neglect to think about all of the planning involved, but I can imagine the strategy involved in it. Really wasn't a bad first day, it's just a very vibrant class ^_^. They can go from very motivated to very defeated and beaten up fast, and the ones that are like that are older X3 *-_-*. All well, it's going to be fine I have a feeling .

It really seems neat, it's not something I ever considered. But I've never gotten into much visual art. It's almost like fingerprints or it's own air pockets you gain back from it. Not to over analyze it but the swirls and stuff are just really cool. I'm sure it looks more interesting in person all in the same. Kind of makes me think when games try to use water colors for graphics, it becomes very psychedelic :3.

Teehee, kind sounds like me! ^^" How old are the kids that you teach? I always thought that teaching youger kids would be easier, teenagers would be erm...challanging I think.^^" I'm sure it shall. (=

Fingerprints, I like that idea.^^ Oh I love to see watercolours used in games and animations, I would love to do a watercolour animation, just don't have the times somehow, haha.

haha awe it can be easy to do, especially just starting out on something. But your ambition, it certainly stands out *^_^* it's why I love replying to your messages and at least, TRYING to challenge some of your thought :3 . I've never thought about little kids to much, the energy being put into it but yeah it's a little more free form maybe :3. It's holding their attention then . Yeah I have mostly 24-30 and then a few like nearly grandparents or full time parents :3. It all greatly varied, they all worry about their jobs and getting work done and one girl and her friend sort of wanted to think I wasn't going to be able to live up to her expectations, thought she was more organized than me X3 *^_^*. Thought she had the college at the pulse all that but she was nice to, not, well, bitchy I guess :3 to get to the point heh. The older ladies, they were getting flustered, and then the handicapped, one was greatly confident sort of riding the wave helping others ^_^...*^_^* and this other guy along with this girl that thinks she needs to move faster it's going to be a strange conflict until I can figure out the pace. This kid wants to do well so bad but he is going to need help on the side or the class itself just wont be able to finish with all the outside work :/.

Fingerprints gives it a sense of history, would make this piece seem even more dramatic , I don't know how that would work but it could certainly enhance the volume it already has :3. You are just fun to collaborate with . But yeah, Games like Saga frontier did a lot with water colors and I some other strategy RPG's it does look really nice . Ah if you had that kind of time, I would be a fan , I couldn't imagine it would be the least bit easy, the presentation is beautiful but I wonder how rewarding the payoff is to the programmers hehe , it does come off as niche. But it appears there are two fans here lol ^_^.

Ambition by the bucket loads, I certainly I have that, haha. I think though that is what makes you crash so hard when things fall though.^^" I try to challenge my own thoughts, have internal (and external ^^" ) debates and arguments with myself, haha. Working with adults I think must be very rewarding, you know that everyone that is there actually wants to be, rather than kids and teenagers where you know that half of them have their minds elsewhere.^^" Haha, you will always have the people who will like to try to challenge you, she sounds an awful lot like my sister, having said that she usually did know better than all of her teachers, haha.^^" Aww, pulling them through it, working with everyone and really helping them, that sounds really nice.^^ It's amazing how much people can do when they want something bad enough, I really hope he does well.^^

^^ Haha, oh I know nothing about that side of things, programming, oh that stuff makes my eyes glaze over.^^" I am strictly the art department! Oh there has to be a lot of fans surely, it's so beautiful. There is a music video, I think it's by Owl City but I can't find it >.< it's so beautiful, a paper plane..oh no, it was Sky Sailing [link] It is such a gorgeous video!^^ And song of course.^^

Fighting with yourself is both rewarding and frustrating. Pushing yourself forward and fighting through that humiliation is the one that really pays off. At the end of the day and seeing all the things you tried just feels so good. I don't know how to put this but sometimes the failures feel more rewarding than the success. I guess what may sound better is because the success becomes part of your routine like, success is just getting up and going to work and doing what you are told as to where failure means you are trying something new :3...Yeah the adults are pretty cool, the ones that are in their mid 20's are kind of frustrating lol they want everything just so and you throw anything off and it feels like they are trying to correct YOU instead of anything else and they just get all emotional XD :3. So I keep adjusting my script basically, I know it's not fair to them but I kind of have to mostly for the sake of their grades...I know it's not fair when the class is actually happening, it's disorienting but they will see as I mess with the structure, it will actually help out their grades in the end and the lessons open more as I make sense of things and they realize they want to be taught actually .

That was a cool video, the layering was especially neat. That voice is really familiar he seems to be in a lot of projects now lol, I don't really know. If I knew his name it would be easier X3. But anyway, yeah very nostalgic and great colors :3. Great find on that *^_^*.

Yeah I can see where you are coming from with that, it's like taking things for granted I guess, the small successes that we have we tend to forget about easily and ignore.^^" It sounds like a lot of fun if you're wanting a challenge, haha. I think I would find it very strange and intimidating teaching people that were around my age or older.^^"

Oh, the guy's name is Adam Young, he is Owl City too, I do love his music. Yeah I think that a friend recommended it to me.^^

It is a little weird teaching people around your age, you start slipping into this friend zone feel from time to time and it gets weird. You want to try and help them out that much more though and not be this egomaniacal guy that wants to see their grades keep dropping though. That is where Management messed me up. You always had to try watch them slip so you could get new talent in there..now it's the opposite side of being a leader :3, more truly rewarding and less sneaky. Teaching older people, eh it kind of is but it doesn't get to me they just kind of childish XD and feel like they might try to taddle behind your back :3...or just give up faster its frustrating. I think they feel like they have less to lose so they try less, it's annoying. *-_-* especially minorities . It happened today, I gave them their first true exam and they all had a hard time and I tried to help them out...to their benefit, the questions are written really goofy and the program wants them just so and so it's really unforgiving. But then they just start losing it even when I try to back them up and it gets discouraging for both of us. So I let them take it home...I hope they take advantage of it because all their grades tumbled :3...but they will go back up because I have an encyclopedia of papers to grade now lol *^_^*.

That's cool that's who it did sound like and I still can't think of the other band :3. but another of his is D-Ntel and the song this band I'm thinking of is When Soul Meets Body and something about the Equinox? lol either of them ring a bell X3? I'm terrible with this. That D-Ntel seems like the most artsy like sort of Trance or noise music hardly anything happened with the ones I heard.
