Description Only thing I've produced since the summer, but I feel like I don't upload enough, so...

After much insisting by my friend, I gave in and attempted to draw a bird. The peregrine falcon is my second favourite (after the osprey), but I found the greatest photo elorine.deviantart.com/art/Per… and just had to try it...

It looks fantastic, very well done!

I've been looking to try my hand at drawing birds as well. Would you mind if I used your picture here for reference?

Fantastic pencil work, looks like a black and white replica of the reference...absolutely stunning attention to detail!

Based on the ref, I would say this is a prairie falcon or a saker, seems much too light to be a peregrine and peregrines tend to have a black "helmut" rather than the teardrops on the head plumage. I don't know if this particularly matters but it's just a note on accuracy for future non-referenced work if you choose to do more ^_^ Beautiful work nonetheless.

Interesting.. didn't realize the number of birds that look so similar to the peregrine; thank you for that bit of info And glad you like it

Gorgeous textures! Those feathers look soft. I wanna reach out and pet him, but I'm afraid he'll bite my hand off.

This is simply gorgeous! Falcons are my favorite birds... and hawks... and eagles... Okay, I like the ones with screeching cries and big, beautiful wings. ^^ Amazing work!
