PTERANODOOM is Edward's transformation of a Gyaosaurus from the planet Kaiju Saitō of the Kaiju System.

Origins: The name Pteranodoom is a combination of the words pteranodon and doom.

DNA Source: The DNA source of this transformation is unknown.

Appearance: He is a purple pteranodon-like alien with light orange spikes that come out of his shoulders and legs as well as his claws. He has a small green uniform around his torso and shoulders with a white stripe on the middle. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest.

Powers:
- Enhanced Physiology: Pteranodoom possesses great strength, durability, speed, dexterity and stamina.
- Flight: His wings allow him to fly at high speeds.
- Limited Regeneration: Pteranodoom has the ability to heal wounds that would normally leave large scars, such as severe burns or deep injuries, as well as lost limbs.
- Natural Weaponry: He possesses sharp teeth and claws.
- Sonic Beam: Pteranodoom can fire a yellow beam from his mouth with his supersonic roar that can cut through his opponents and objects.
- Echolocation: Pteranodoom can use his powerful throat to make low frequency sounds that he can use to locate things from hundreds of miles away or in the dark.

Weaknesses:
- Extreme Heat: Attacks or environments of intense heat can hurt him badly.

Commentary: The Kaiju System, just like the Anur System, is composed of various planets that are home of several species whose homeworlds are basically neighbors. This system in particular is known in the universe for it's massive lifeforms that have been categorized by many galactic scientists as Mega-Fauna. It is theorized that the species have grown this big due to the special radiation emitted by the planets they inhabit. Unlike most species on the Kaiju System, it is not the size of an individual of this species that's impressive, being as tall as an average human, but the size of the groups they form, hunting in packs of hundreds or in rare cases even thousands. The sheer size of their numbers are enough for them to compete with their gigantic natural rivals, the Titanus Yonejirō.

This transformation is based on Gyaos, enemy of Gamera, more specifically, in the smaller version that was seen in the trailer of a new Gamera movie that never got out. The name of the planet of this transformation is based on Yonejirō Saitō, the creator of Gamera.
