And AGAIN you show how it should be done! This would satisfy me much for a Godzilla 2 tweaked design. It's still recognizably 2014, but he looks older, and more old school without losing much of the original design. Bout the only things I say "bug" me at all are the muscle lumps at the back of the neck cos it give him even more of a bull neck than in the film, and (wait for it) the "gills". If they are gills, that is, since regardless what the fx artists say, there is never anything in the film to establish them as that. But that's not at all your fault!

You do know that LegendaryGoji ISN'T the first Godzilla with gills right? The Showa incarnation had gills.

That's in a book, not on screen. Not canon. Any before you say Tomiyuki Tanaka said it, it's doesn't matter. If it's not stated onscreen it's not canon.

Okay, then how could you explain Godzilla staying underwater for infinite periods of time without gills? It makes more sense as he is amphibious.

How do whales do it? They hold their breath. He is many times larger than a whale, therefore much greater lung capacity. Whales can stay under water for hours holding their breath. Godzilla could likely stay underwater for possibly 18 or more hours before needing to surface for air. And being amphibious simply means he spends time in water, not that he is an amphibian. If you pay attention to the Showa series after '54, they pretty clearly show that being amphibious is simply to get around. As in the Heisei series. He spends more time on land in the Showa series than in water, if you really pay attention to the way the films play out. '54 is really the only one that implies he spends most of his time underwater.

If holding his breath were the case, then explain to me on how he can roar underwater as well as use his atomic breath underwater while still holding his breath. Roaring uses air and I'm sure the atomic breath does too. Personally I never had a problem with the gills as they made sense in why Godzilla could stay underwater for years at a time.
And not to sound rude, but I do know what amphibious means.
Let me ask you something, why do you hate the gills so much? They make sense for a creature that had to go underwater to get as close as it could to the core of the planet to feed on geothermal radiation.

Idk which to go for: Marmoset, Keyshot or Houdini for rendering, because it seems like all 3 has awesome capabilities.
