Godzilla vs Megalon was the very first G-movie I ever saw at the drive-in. Warm and fuzzy memories for sure! And I always appreciated it years later when TOHO essentially repeated Megalon's facial structure for Battra's head design.

Megalon has a canon cutaway where you can see how his drills work and what makes them spin and such, like the locking mechanism on the flat ends of each drill and the parts inside each.
