Great, the old enemies. The T-72 MBT and the M1A1/2 Abrams. Wonder who wins.
btw, the T-72's gun is capable of completely destroying the Abrams, and vice versa.

If they struck the right area, yes. But the T72 was hampered by the fact that the armor wasn't the strongest, and the turret had to be hand-cranked to turn and fire. It also couldn't fire on the move like the Abrams. In all, it was outclassed in every way. The Soviets made a lot, but they weren't the best.

The T-72 was never for Russia's own use, it was made as a cheap export tank for smaller countries.

It'd be sweet if only these two ponies had proper tankers gear. By the way, both the T90 and the Abrams are missing of the reactive armor. Still a great piece of art.

I've only seen one abrams with reactive armor, I find the fact it's missing it's CITV more distressing(and yes, I am more than well aware of the fact that only the a2's have CITV's)

Or, most likely, the abram reference picture is taken form the armored division which took part in "operation desert storm" back in the first gulf war, because that would explain the lack of both plates and turret...
