As a mad scientist / super villain, I personally prefer to use DethRay's! I like my enemy's to turn into glowing green skeletons before they disintegrate!^^

Rats! I forgot about the infamous Death-rays...
BUT our scientists are working on an "Anti-Death-Ray-Protective-Umbrella"
Unfortunately the power cells have the size of an zeppelin aircraft works.... We are working on that too!
