Description This is my entry for the "Give the Gift of Art Challenge"

This drawing is dedicated to my parents, who are both deaf and have been deaf since their birth. It's hard to imagine that they can't hear sounds, music and even my voice. My dad used to have a hearing aid, but he got really bad tinnitus because of it, so he stopped wearing them. My mom didn't, so she probably can't even imagine what sound is like, which is really strange if you think about it. Music is a big part of my life and if I could, I'd give it to my parents to let them experience how beautiful sounds can be!

Tools used: Wacom Intuos Pen Small, Photoshop CS6 and my headphones for some inspirational music

This choice of gift really touched me..; v ; I recently watched a movie about a girl who dreams to move to Paris in purpose to be a singer as she has an outstanding voice, but both her parents and brother are deaf and she fears to leave them. The movie emotionally touched me, it's a French one, but if you ever hear of "La famille BΓ©lier", watch it !
Your picture was amazingly drawn, you have great painting skills and the colors are beautiful.
I wish you all my luck for the contest and have lots of empathy for you and your parents !
