AC II was the first game of the series I played. I thought Ezio totally cray-cray when he did that first leap of faith on his way to see Cristina. I think he was an Assassin before he even knew it
But Desmond does take the leap! In Brotherhood, when he sawΒ an Eagle Vision echo of Ezio jumped off the wall (can't remember why) and followed. Lucy said "That was pretty amazing" after she climbed down a ladder...

I'd forgotten it until I replayed sometime in the past year. Desmond learned some pretty neat stuff with that bleeding effect. Too bad that wasn't real!
Yeah, painful to fall in a haystack or wheelbarrow of flowers. When I first climbed the Campanile di san Giotto in Firenze (well, I didn't climb it, Ezio did ;3) I looked off the viewpoint to that tiny little rectangle of pink and thought HELL NO! and climbed back down xD

Yeah, but some people jump out of planes without parachutes, sky-divers or free-fallers or whatever they're called. Hundreds upon hundreds of feet in the air. Some of those actually survives, lo and behold... But then again, I can sort of side with you. To actually survive something like that depends on the physical health of the diver. If the bones are fragile and the muscle-mass is too thin then the diver will most likely without a doubt die.

From what I can tell, Altair and Ezio are superhuman because they are mutants with the Eagle Vision, which can find cold trails, show friend to foe and just like Spider Sense, alert the user of any oncoming danger. Their abilities were only enhanced with proper training. Even on low health they are even stronger.

Yes, but I don't believe they become any lighter. The heavier you are, the harder you will fall, and with all the strength that they build up they will fall even harder. Muscles weigh more than fat. Their senses may be refined but I don't think that any refinement of their senses will make them into, literally, a feather-weight... :/
Also, with all those tools they are carrying their total weight should be 100 kilos, or about 220 lbs and 7 oz if you're an American.

Depends upon their hardiness. Sometimes your pain tolerance is so high that when you get stabbed in the hand with a knife, you just pull it out as if it was nothing and immediately start a fistfight.

He fell flat on his stomach, creating a lot of wind-resistance, while the AC characters create a u form while falling on their backs in a haystack from both short and large distances between start and finish. I've heard of someone here that died falling from the 3rd floor. On the other hand, I've heard of others jumping out of airplanes without parachutes. So called free-fallers, or whatever... Otherwise called careless idiots... =__='

Yes, but that's exactly it, they can lift heavy armor as if it was nothing, they are extremely strong, they have LOADS of muscles, muscles weigh more than fat and they will fall from such heights like 30 cubic centimeters block made of gold, really heavy metal! If not the heaviest there is!

Yes, but the heavier they are, the harder they will fall. Armor and weaponry weighs x lb/x kg, Altair/Ezio/Desmond weighs y lb/y kg, x Β€ y = xy = weighs a lot and they will fall pretty hard. EVEN if they land in a hay-stack and EVEN if the distance from point A to point B is short. They will fall hard and it will hurt a little/a lot depending on the distance fallen.
