Body forms. Series 1.4"If our mind is shaped by our experiences, so too, our body shaped by our repeated actions. The uselesness of the body builders craft is akin to the mental agility of little practical application enjoyed by the 'idiot savant'. To have our form shaped though, by the obsessions that we undertake, is to create a wonderful landscape to explore. To enjoy the naked form as art is to grow beyond the human desires we feel. I've looked through all of your Body Forms series that you have posted, and though the competition was close, this one is ultimately my favorite. The human body here is turned abstract, almost to the point of not consciously recognizing it AS a human body. I especially love the hands positioned as they are and the feeling of spotlight-yet-not-spotlight on the figure.
The entire series is well-done as a whole. I will be dev-watching.

however, I have to be nitpicky and said that if he were *juuuuust* a tad more to the right , it would've been perfect.
Unless of course, you made an effort to not cut off the top of the shadow. In which case, this photo is flawless.

The guy looks a bit off-centered but you know what this reminds me off? Like I was at the bottom a big cave and there was light shining directly on top of my head.

Hmmm...I like the lighting and the shadows in this one. The tones and detail are wonderful, but something seems out of synch. I can't put my finger on it, but it doesn't have the flow that I am used to from your work. It gives off a different vibe. Was it toward the end of the shoot when you or the model were getting tired. Somehow it just feels like the two of you lost touch.
I know...I know...that is the first negative thing I have ever said about your work. Mark the calendar and call the papers. Admit it, you wouldn't adore me if I weren't honest. Here is something to make it all better...
