Description
WORK IN PROGRESS...An underpainting, completed with brunt umber, black, and white oils on a 8" x 10" canvas panel. Full color will be next, when this phase cures completely. I usually do underpainting using fast drying acrylic paint, but I am trying out a different method with this painting of a Green Finch. My reference for this is a taxidermy bird I bought from Etsy. Wonderful to have a great reference to paint from.Related content
