In short, this Klonoa grew up in the world of Sonic but was taken care of and adopted by Whisper's family (which she had before becoming just herself). She took care of him and became what he is today, a hero who helps Sonic most of the time, and his hat was bought by her as a special gift for his birthday. 'Thank you, sis.' Their relationship was like that of a mother and son most of the time, as Whisper's mother didn't have time for him before she disappeared and his adoptive sister had to take care of him completely. Anyway, that's Klonoa's story.
