Description XR551 is the only Freight Australia rebuilt XR that has been repainted by Pacific National. The first 6 XR's are a rebuilt X class (engine upgrade from 16-567C@ 1800hp or 16-645E@2200hp to 16-645E3C@3300hp). They stripped to a bare frame for the rebuild so the only original X class parts you can see here are probably the frame, bogies and fuel tank. They sound nice though.
