Tis just outside the town of Cash Creek on the highway towards Clinton I love those colorful hills!! Great photo!!! I have never been able to get a decent pic of those zooming down the highway

Thanks Jeanie. The colors are so striking, I don't think the pictures really did it justice. We were on our way to visit friends at Canim Lake. The traffic was so busy and we were past it before I said "stop, that would be a great photo opportunity", so my sweet husband had to promise me that on our way back we would stop.

It is amazing how these trees can find enough nutrients in such unsuitable places and grow to be such tall trees.
