Description
The Grackle is not a well loved bird. It has a habit of robbing other birds nests, and is responsible for damage to grain crops as they descend in large flocks on farmers fields. On the other hand they have a habit of ridding our lawns and gardens of pesky insects. They are cheeky bird with a bold stare and colorful iridescent plumage. Looks a bit like 'Darth Vader' of the bird world.
