I am sorry Mai, I can fully understand your frustration about being bashed by some of those rabid Zutarians.
But don't worry, let's we all hope that there are more and more sane Zutarians who can respet/tolerate the other shippers.

I don't understand how anyone can hate Mai... That scene when she confronts Zuko in the prison and that other one from the same episode where she stands up to Azula establish her as the perfect badass character as well as the perfect adorable (in some twisted way) character in my mind...

I like Mai, but sometimes, to me it's just her and Zuko randomly kissing. She also seems kinda boring. I know, I know, you just addressed that! But, she's a character, and her boringness still annoys me. I'm just that way XD I also like Zutara (don't shoot meh!!! //shot), but if I were Mai, I'd be ticked about it too. But I still think fans on both sides (or whichever side) overreact to somethings sometimes. WHY CAN'T WEEE BE FRIIIEEENNNDDDSS??? WHYYYY CANT WEEEEEEEE BEH FRIIEEENNNDDDDSSS???

The only ever indication I ever got that there was somthing romantic between Zuko and Katara was in that episode they were trapped together, other than that Mai seems to be the only girl Zuko actually likes :3

I'm just kidding. Mai is one of my favourites. And that was well and truly before what she did in season three. Toph is also one of my favourite characters. They tie in. I'm not really a big fan of Katara's though, for me she just doesn't click with Aang OR Zuko... On a side note (and completely different topic) Sokka and Suki DO fit well with each other. It isn't always about who's opposite or the like but a lot of characters I've come across just FIT. Like Maiko and Taang (for me at least) and yes Sukka. Although I side ship that one I still really like it. Alright rant done.
