I previously posted this, but couldn't get a good flash without holding it. I rephotographed a bunch of pendants and freeforms in anticipation of my upcoming guest appearance at a local gallery. This little gem was especially accommodating, showing all of its purple nature and just a hint of a gold freckle at the top. It's sitting on a slab of polystyrene foam from something I got shipped to my office. This photo was taken indoors, with a huge picture window flooding the room with sunlight. I still can't figure out where the spotlights on the gold and bottom right of the stone came from. Thanks to Dale Penrod for another spectacular gem. Bail to bottom point this measures about 2 inches.
