Barrel is named after the Barrel Cactus, which my Dad is quite intimate with—let’s be honest, if you live in Texas, you know cacti.

Background:

Weaton is concerned.  First, a roving cactus wanders onto the ranch.  Okay, he can handle that.  Maybe.  It would explain why he was never able to use cacti as landmarks.  But he definitely felt sorry for it, being around him and his passive plant-killing ability….

Okay, this is much worse. O-o

Barrel likes to hang around the garden and sham as a scarecrow.  When he’s not doing that, he’s either pretending to be a cactus elsewhere or following Weaton around.  Because Weaton is definitely just an odd-colored Saguaro Cactus and you can’t convince Barrel otherwise.

Diet:

We don’t know…..

Trivia:

--Thinks he’s spookier than he really is

--Is varying levels of effective as far as chasing birds away from the garden

                --It doesn’t help that he actually likes fine feathered friends ^v^

--Sounds kind of hollow
--Likes it when Weaton plays cowboys with the other Pokémon
              --Plays a cactus prop when they do
